Upcoming screening: ‘The Reports on Sarah and Saleem’

The Limassol Film Club is organizing a screening of the 2019 film ‘The Reports on Sarah and Saleem‘.

The screening will take place at RIO cinema (Limassol) on Monday, December the 2nd.

The film revolves around “the affair of a married Palestinian man and a married Israeli woman in Jerusalem. This affair takes a dangerous political dimension when they are spotted in the wrong place at the wrong time, leaving them to deal with more than their broken marriages.”

The film stars Maisa Abd Elhadi, Mohammad Eid, and Kamel El Basha among others.

‘The Reports on Sarah and Saleem’ has enjoyed near-universal critical acclaim, with a 97% ‘certified fresh’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, who describe it as “a riveting and unusually layered romance”, which “deftly unravels an engrossing illicit affair in a rich sociopolitical context”.
