The easiest, no baking time needed tiramisu recipe!
Freshly brewed coffee in lukewarm state
1/2 tsp instant coffee dissolved in shot glass
1 box ladyfingers
225 gr cream cheese
225 gr mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup icing sugar
200ml fresh cream
The first step for successful and tasty tiramisu recipe is to brew some coffee and allow it to cool down. Good quality coffee will enhance the flavor outcome. My personal preference is to use Jacobs filter coffee. You will need no more than 2 cups of coffee.
Step 2 is to prepare the cream mixture. Using a hand mixer combine together the Cream Cheese, the mascarpone cheese and the icing sugar.
Once combined we incorporate 1 shot of instant coffee dissolved in water (1/2 tsp of coffee granules) and a splash of vanilla extract.
Following we add to our cream mixture 200ml of fresh cream and whisk until we have soft firm picks. This may take up to 5mins of whisking… It will firm up … do not be discouraged if it is looking liquidity.
We set aside our cream mixture and bring forward the ladyfingers and our freshly cooled down coffee mixture to set up our dessert.
Yes it is so simple….
My personal preference is to use a clear pan so you can see the layers but you could also use a round detachable pan.
The recipe serves up to 8 people so an average deep should be used whatever you have in hand will do.
We deep each ladyfinger in the brewed coffee no more than 5 seconds on each side and place it in the pan. Repeat until the whole surface area is covered.
Spread half of the cream mixture on top and repeat the same process with the ladyfingers for a second layer!
For the top layer I like to run my spatula and create waves for texture!
To finish dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa! You may reserve this step to prior to serving also.
Refrigerate for minimum of 4 hours or for better infused flavors and results, it is better prepare the tiramisu the day beforehand!
