The results of tests on a suspected coronavirus case are negative, Minister of Health Constantinos Ioannou has said, after being briefed by the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING), which carried out the tests.
Ioannou said on Monday evening, in a post on Facebook and Twitter, that he had just been informed by CING that the suspected case, that concerned a young man from India, who was kept in isolation, at Limassol General Hospital, tested negative.
“Four more samples were also tested negative,” the Minister said and thanked the CING staff for their immediate response.
