The President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, will preside over, on Thursday morning, a meeting of the political party leaders Council to discuss measures against coronavirus.
Government Spokesman Kyriacos Koushos said on Wednesday in a written statement that the meeting will take place at 10 am (local time), at the Presidential Palace, to inform political leaders and discuss issues that are pertinent to the measures taken to counter the spread of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, President Anastasiades told his Cabinet members on Wednesday that it was important to get all citizens on board, amid efforts against the spread of coronavirus.
The Cabinet met under President Anastasiades to discuss the order of business, as well as issues in relation to efforts to address COVID-19.

On their part, the Ministers assured the President that they will exert all efforts to address the spread of coronavirus and protect the society in its entirety while making sure that decrees will be observed, the Government Spokesman concluded.
