Robert Pattinson has one more confirmed co-star with director Matt Reaves announcing John Turturro as his casting choice for Carmine ‘The Roman’ Falcone for the upcoming Batman movie.
Turturro joins Pattinson (Bruce Wayne), Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (The Riddler), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), and Colin Farrell (Penguin) as the confirmed cast of ‘The Batman’. They are expected to be joined by at least two more notable actors for the roles of Harvey Dent and Alberto Falcone.
Preparation for The Batman is shaping up quite nicely, with a varied but proven cast, due to Reaves’ decision to prioritize fitting casting choices over sheer star power or outright relevance.
Knowing that ‘The Roman’ will be a part of the plot allows us to assume that all the whispers about the movie being based on the Batman comic ‘The Long Halloween’ are entirely too accurate. From this, we can deduce a few things about the plot and future casting but we won’t delve into that at the moment.
‘The Batman’ is currently scheduled for a June 2021 release slot.
