Limassol Film Club – ‘Blow-up’

The Limassol Film Club have been active since 1974. As part of their ongoing activities and efforts to promote film-making in Cyprus, as well as their desire to introduce valuable and important motion pictures to the public, they select noteworthy films from around the world for screening at one-time events.

For their upcoming screening, they have selected the 1966 film ‘Blow-up’, a mystery thriller by Italian film director Michelangelo Antonioni, starring David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave and Sarah Miles.

The film is critically acclaimed, having won the Palme d’Or at Cannes and receiving two Oscar nominations, one for Best Director and one for Best Original Screenplay.

The screening will take place on Monday the 11th of November, at RIO Cinema.
