A joint search and rescue exercise between Cyprus and Germany, named “CYDEU 04/19”, was carried out on Thursday in the sea area south of Cyprus, within the search and rescue responsibility area of the Republic of Cyprus.
According to a press release, a National Guard helicopter and a German corvette were used in the exercise, with the aeronautical coordination of the Search and Rescue Coordination Centre of Larnaca, in cooperation with the German Navy.
